M46 and it's Planetary Neb

First light on Tak FS102, I used the WO 0.8 Flattener. and think I probably shouldn't have. I'll have to try again tomorrow.

15 X 160 sec images cropped to remove some of the edge problems. I also think I will have to revisit my guiding.

I think I'll have to revisit a few things, this is a big heavy scope but will be great matched up with the ED80 side by side on the EQ6.

Yeh, nice image.
I think that the guiding is OK, but maybe the polar alignment was out?

Very nice image.
Different to my one. You have a much wider field than me.
I assume the top has been cropped out as the stars in the bottom corners show some ?field rotation. The centre and the top is lovely and sharp.

I love the flat field those scopes produce.
And, beautiful colour of that little planetary neb in amongst the star field is cool too. Lovely.
