Hope you guys were lookin up last night! Was fairly clear, till the moon came up. Washed out Mars but great moon views!!!

P.s. Yes, I'm very excited because I haven't been able to use my scope(s) in ages!!!!!!

Yeah, the seeing got a lot better around 2am after some cloud moved in between about 1 and 2.

Great to have a reasonably clear night for a change:) Shame about the seeing :(

Yeah, I was only up till just before midnight...Seeing was horrible....but moon looked great. :) I was just happy to get some observing in.

I had the opposite effect. I had high thin cloud til the moon came out. I then had a washed out sky with moonlight. Took some more pics of some GCs as nothing else is worth imaging in the moonlight.

I was at work got home around 11ish and was too tired to setup, though It would have been good to get out again, it's now cloudy and they are predicting showers possible storm for the weekend. Tuesday might be alright.

‘Twas certainly nice to be out once more, despite being out of practice and notwithstanding the belt of clouds that came in just as Regulus was in occultation. It was also quite a shock to my system having to process the images later in the day - I'd almost forgotten how to operate the various applications!

It was my daughter's third birthday, so I had her out looking at Mars and a few other sights until the moon came up. She really likes the telescope :)
