16 inch lightbridge truss dob

has any body come up with a simple method of covering the secondary mirror on a 16 inch lightbridge ,that can be installed in the dark. and /or left on whilst not in use,i have been informed that a plastic 2liter coke bottle bottom works,but i am concerned that it could come off and damage the primary if the primary was not covered in time....any ideas? qld:help:

I have used a cutdown nappysan bottle with a elastic cord and crocadile clip for 6 years without any problems.
Make a cover for your primary mirror and put this first on before putting the secondary cover on.

Buy a plastic canister with a threaded lid and cut slots so they fit over the spider vain and the secondary should then be well protected when the lid is screwed back on .I've donr that and works well.
