The clouds finally cleared up enough last night for me to take a few AVI's. :)

Saturn was up so I decided to set up the DMK and the lappy. The seeing was OK for some imaging but definately not the best. The Moon was full drowning out most of the night sky but I am extremely happy with the final results.

A LARGER image scale would be nice but I can't complain. :2thumbs: :D

Details:

What do you think?

Excellent results Matty :)

What brand of 2x Barlow do you use?

Thanks Doug,

I use a standard Celestron 2x barlow.

You should be pleased - a very good result for the short time you've been imaging.

Get a 3x and a 5x barlow now!

For a first attempt i reckon that is awesome stuff, I don't do any Planetry imaging, but i would hang that on the pool room wall no worries.

Thanks for the kind comments. :)

If you look closely, I actually captured one of Saturn's moons. I am not sure which one. It is just under Saturn a bit to the left. :D
