Steve,

That is a technically *hard* object to image, particularly at the scale you've
imaged it at.

Lots of detail, excellent colour balance, nice tight round stars to the edge of the frame....hey..as if I need to tell you this ;)

Great work! Get it published! :) AS&T are I'm sure looking for this calibre of image!

Can you give the RA and DEC for this object. I only have the 1950 co-ordinates from Burnham's
Thanks Allan

Thanks very much for that. I can remember browsing Burnham's and thinking what a cool little object and have searched for it but not found it. I'll try to image it when the clouds clear as its on my to do list. Also like to add, what a great photo you have taken of it - a masterpiece and beyond my capabilities.

Thanks Peter,

Maybe it's time to break the ice and start submitting images. I have always been reluctant with Australian publications, as that "other magazine" has stolen some of my images in the past and falsified the credits.

Superb Steven, just superb. Wonderful detail!

What image scale were you working at anyway? I'd guess around 1 arcsec/pixel (?)

Cheers, Marcus

Thanks Marcus.

You're close the scale 1.1 arcsec/pixel.

Marvellous Steven. Thoroughly enjoyed the rich star field surrounding the center show piece. I wonder how much more you would have brought out in Ha. Keep up the great work.
