Celestron C-8

Second hand Celestron C8 on Super Polaris Mount. Second hand unit approximately ten years old. OTA and mirrors are in good condition but the motors are beginning to show their age.

Comes with finder, scope, dew cap and plastic storage box. The mount has solid wooden legs, which reduce vibration but make shipping difficult. Pickup in Brisbane strongly preferred.

Bought as an introductory scope and I have now moved on to a 9.25" with goto mount. Prefer to see it used by someone seeking an entry to astronomy and priced as such.

$350 ono.

Wow what a bargain. I just ordered a similar OTA used from Overseas for a lot more. Still better than the average local price.

Davewaldo is currently looking at the scope (waiting on clear skies). If he turns it down, Tony Gough wants to look at it next (both Brisbane locals). If either of them declines, I will post the photoes

What type of mount is the telescope on. What type is the telescope itself.
