Hi Guys,

heres my effort at widefield with my cheapo lense, canon 28 - 105mm F3.5-4.5. These were taken at F4.5 . I thought i wouldnt be able to capture this at all from my light polluted sky. But the 5 minutes exposure took care of that :) also Paul's recent spectacular shot of LMC gave me the courage to go for it!

Nice work Eric - betcha had fun getting those!! How did you deal with the light pollution?

Good stuff Eric ! good to see you try some widefield stuff :thumbsup:
the eta and orion ones are quiet nice. I suppose your biggest prob in the burbs will be LP gradients to deal with.
keep at it while the weather lasts!
wish we had some more clear skies here .. :(

cheers. Not much houghy just got to put up with it. i guess thats why i don't use my lense to do astro stuff :lol:. i only have the 48mm IDAS LPS2 filter .




thanks gary, yea my sky literally glows at night. nothing i can do even my flats arent even constant.

Great widefields Eric, very enjoyable to view. There's even a Horsey caught in the Orion widefield, well done. :thumbsup:

Bit wide for my tastes Eric, not critising the pics persay, but your regular stuff has more impact.
