P1 Anniversary!

Its been 12 months (on 17th) since i laid eyes on P1 McNaught!:astron:
I can almost taste the excitement i went through the day i spotted it between the clouds! :jump:

The 18th was my first photo opportunity though..... :camera:

I first spotted it earlier in the week, though it was very difficult. It's almost the 1 year anniversary to IISAC2007! Man the comet was a sight from Lostock.

It was certainly a memorable time, HRH & I raced to the end of the street on successive nights to view, only to find some days later that the view from our back yard was just as good. :D

Remember it well, gee time passes so quick, and Phil I did exactly as you, drove about 10 ks each night and found out sooner than later that at home was the best spot. :lol:
