canon 350d, SN10 2X barlow(=2032mm fl). Stitched together in PS.

Nice image of the Moon Ron. I love a full disk lunar image :)

Did you run an artistic effect over the data in PS or is the noise when you zoom in a compression artefact?

compression artifact I'm afraid---any way of getting bigger files uploaded without having to link??

Not that I'm aware of. The best I can suggest is that you post a scaled-down image and then some cropped high-resolution shots of selected areas.
