Reprocessed Orion and Running Man - 11th Jan

Hi All,

With all the rain i thought i would practice a bit more processing on the data i have.

1st pic is the newly reprocessed version
2nd previous attempt.
3rd original stacked and dark subtracted image.

Much prever the second version Fahim. There is much less noise and the Running Man nebula stands out much more clearly to my eye.

Yes Doug, i thought the same the previous one is more natural to the eye. I thinking bring the red out more has added to much noise. I am trying to see what can be done with the red specks of noise. Can some one tell me there is a way to filter these out? Also is it possible i wonder to cheat and use the same image as layers to bring out the core and colors? I mean if you have not got other exposures, could you use curves to reduce the brightness and use that as a layer to show the core.
