Very nice, Eric!
Looks like some very faint loops to the nebulosity that might be worth a deeper shot.

A great image of one of my favorite objects, thanks Eric.
It is easy to see 3199 visually with a UHC filter.
Well done Eric, It's great to see images of other lesser known nebulae and this is a fine example.
Those faint loops look interesting and as Al said it might be worth a deeper shop to bring them up.
Cheers

nice result eric, but I think you could do with some more time on this object, as I think the neb is larger than is shown in your shot. I would say that maybe a few hours worth of time would do this justice instead of the 1 hour you managed to bang out. mate look long and hard at the heat noise - that new cooled 40D that Yun is developing has your name all over it---LOL.

totally agree with you Al. i tend to image a couple of objects each imaging session so my avereage will be the 1 - 1 1/2 hour mark per object. when the clouds clear i see if i can stretch it abit.
cheers glen. Really? i even had trouble imaging it seeing it will be quite hard from my location.
cheers Ric. thanks. longer expo will sure do it.
LOL thanks houghy. think the longest on an object was 2 1/2 hours . havnt past that at this stage. should spend 1 night entirely on 1 object but just too tempting to go and look for others. is Yun developing a cooled 40D?? I thought just the 400D?? *droollllingg*
