Yes it has been done. My partner, Julie asked if she could take a picture of it.
:eyepop:Woo-Hoo. Couldn't pass up this joint effort.
We (I), while she watched, took this.
6x10min L
2x10min each RGB
Combined, median, saturation, mask & cropped MaximDL
More L's Req'd .

Looks good to me, nice detail in the dust clouds at the front of the helmet.

Well done, and I agree the clouds are nicely captured.

Hi all,
Thanks for looking and the comments.
Yes, it was cropped to remove the bright star on the left. It bled in the exp's. I am dissapointed about that and will redo with more shorter subs.
A fine effort Jeff, there is some nice detail captured in that one.
Cheers

Very nice Jeff. Good detail in the bubble. With the bleeding of bright stars, does your camera have an antibloombing function that can be turned on or off? Also do you do binning for the RGB, as they say that chrominance resolution isnt as important as luminance resolution. I dont know when I will get a change to image that here the way the weather is of late

Yes it does but I've not figured it out with MaxumDL camera control yet.
This time I used 1x1 for RGB, I think to keep the smoothness. I do need to do more luminance for s/n.
