Funny - as long as you aren't from NZ and love your PM... :lol:

Not as good as the original, by any means, but a modern institution nonetheless.
I love Sam's work. Mad as a hatter!
I used to see a lot more of him on TV when I lived down in Victoria.
He's a funny guy.:)

Thanks Chris. I always get a kick out of these ads each year. I like the tie in with the Qantas ad.
Cheers,

As a Kiwi, I like it, and for two reasons. He isn't too far wide of the mark with his PM comment (ours), and we have plenty of lamb to sell you guys. As dry as it is here at present, it is always greener than at your place.

Ditto to what the others have said, he's funny and doesn't seem to offend in being so.
can't wait to see that one on TV.

Well I guess you can't please everyone.
If there is one person I can not stand to listen to or watch it is him. I would rather someone stand me on my head, shove a funnel up my nose and grind pepper into it, he irritates me that much. Hated his last lamb ad with a passion. I'd rather sit through an hour of watching the "Where the bloody hell are ya? " ad :mad2:
He don't speak for this Aussie

Good ol Sam, he's at it again.
What a classic

A better place and better quality than Youtube is too download this ad (and the previous ones) at;

The 2008 version is not as good as the 2005 one, which has the hilarious statement; "Do you thing the Diggers in their trenches we fighting for Tofu sausages? NO! They were thinking of grabbing a lamb chop off the barbie with their bare fingers, sustaining third degree burns, then sticking their hands into an relieving Esky to fish out a cold one." Brilliant!
