Hi Guys,
this planetary is quite nice actually. different from them all. reminds me of a smaller verison of helix.
10 x 3 minutes exposure at ISO 400.

Great shot there Eric.
there is another PN very close by called Wray 17-31, just ESE of 2899. I reckon you would have gone very close to fitting it in. Heres a full frame view in my 10 inch 1700mm fl scope

Another beauty Eric, this one has a very interesting shape and a nice rich colour.
We'll have to call you "King of the Planetarys"

Nice images, Eric and Scott.
What constellation are we in? I might try to hunt them down with 20" on the weekend, and report on how they appear visually.

cheers guys thanks. ive checked my uncropped image scott, didnt catch wray 17-31 as this was right in the centre. 20" scope will look really nice Rod. never looked through one before.

Its a great image. The background starfield is pretty spectacular too.
