The seeing on the 7th wasn't very good but I persisted to get some images of Mars. Just trying to get as much practice in with the camera.
What features did I capture on Mars?
Details:
Celestron 8SE SCT f/20 - 4000mm
DMK 21AU04.AS at 30fps + 2x Barlow

Nice job, well done. The dark streak down the middle (south->north) is Solis Lacus, and the bright area at the top (south) is the Hellas Basin.

Yes, agree, well done Matt! :thumbsup: You must be having an off day Mike - the dark streak down the middle is Syrtis Major.
