It seems like it has been forever since I have been able to get outside at night. In fact is was way back at 30/10 and 13/11 when I imaged Holmes last. This comet seems to be hanging around for ever.
Canon 300D & 135mm lens, piggybacked and manually guided on an Orion ED80/EQ4 combo. 5@ISO800 @ f/2.8, no callibration shots, stacked in IP and adjusted with curves and levels in PS.
It has hung around hasn't it ! :2thumbs:
Nice capture Paul.
Sub lengths ? :P

Thank Rob and Kearn. The LMC was serendipitous Kearn; ie the fact that it fitted so well in the 135 mm FOV was pure luck, I was more interested in seeing how the Tarantula would turn out :P
Hi Guys,
at risk of sounding a bob short, - which direction do I need to be pointing my binos in to see these comets? It seems all the world but me knows where to look :P
