Fungi Fever

The rain finally stopped today.
We walked down to the creek this afternoon to see how much the flood waters had subsided. On the way back I noticed that there were all sorts of mushrooms growing, it seemed that with every step we took there was a different sort of fungi underfoot.
They really are quite beautiful.

Nice. I wish my wife and I had gotten out yesterday and taken some pictures with the mushrooms at their prime.

We have some really bright orangy red ones coming up that should be perfect tomorrow. There are Fairy Rings galore in the paddocks. Not many giant mushies yet, give it a couple of day I suppose.
