with the seeing fairly ordinary i was unable to finish a couple of mosaics im working on, so had a plug at m78 only got 3 exposures before cloud started forming, (one of the disadvantages of having mountains nearby i guess).

Anyway something different. Hopefully we'll get a good night in soon as is cloudy ....again.

Don`t see many images of this reflection neb
Its on my list to have a go this summer but like you this cloud just won`t go away! :( Had 2 great nights and 3 partly clear nights in 2 months!

3 exposures of 10 min @ 800 iso, i was using your old camera , i actually wanted to see just how long an exposure i could do as up till now ive pretty much been doing 6 min exposures

Nice image. It's interesting how fill-in images often turn up the best for the evening. Seems to be an often overlooked object.
