I seem to remember, from many years ago, that one Quasar should be within reach of amateur telescopes with a camera.
Right???

:hi:solissydney, Quasar 3C 273 in Virgo is visible with telescopes from about 8". RA=12 29.1 DEC+02 03.
At about 12.8 mag is the furthest object seen in moderate amateur telescopes.at about 2 billion light years.

It looks like a faint star in an 8" scope.
You do not need a camera to see this object.
