Comet Holmes in Outburst Again?

THE BIG BIG BIG NEWS IS REGARDING COMET HOLMES ... last night (late christmas day ... the 25th) ... comet holmes erupted and grew about 6 to 8 times in size ... it developed multiple tails and this was clearly visible to the naked eye ...

I know it's a dodgy site, but is it true? I'm so clouded over that I can't check for myself.

Theres no outburst indicated to me through comets-ml, i was in Lightning Ridge from 26th Dec and i could see holmes with naked eye every night, i estimated it to be around 3.5 mag to 4th mag.
Quite large still, i estimated in 7x50's it to be around 65' in dia.

nope no outburst, saw it, holmes easy ne last evening, wednesday 2nd jan, from a dark site, looked like a smaller LMC, kinda, i would say it was about mag 3.5 - 4 also, two months of naked eyeness! whoa! it was bigger ne than in binocs, roughly an easy 1.5 d long streak!
