Hi All,
Seeing was quite good, but unfortunately, I am in the middle of rebuilding my mirror cooling system, so the mirror was 4 degrees above ambient..............together with the low altitude.........mars was jelly.
I decided that I better get at least one mars for this apparition and here it is.
I captured with Lucam Recorder, centred / filtered with Ninox and then did the usual Registax 4.0 stuff.

Can't wait for Mars to head south.

Good work given the conditions Dave. I took a quick peek @ mars with Binos and it was swimming even at 8x. Still, it's better than has been the past few weeks when it's been litle more than a faint red dot, not at all recognisable, thanks to masive amounts of, (what seems to have become year long) forestry regeneration burn pollution.

I haven't even seen it for weeks, so you've done a good job Dave!

Great to open the account anyway.

Great pic. When I had a gander on Christmas Eve it was really soupy - you've done remarkably well for the 10' mirror. My 8' gave me just a swirling blob.
