I assume all 66's are a 2" focuser but just checking. Is it??

The scope normally accepts 1.25" EP's however the 2" Opener adaptor/2" extender allows you to fit 2" diagonals and EP's. The adaptor is a 2" SCT fitting so it will screw on to Meade and Celestron SCT's as well.

how is it for colour correction? l know it's FPL-51 glass but very well baffled so l assume it's reasonably colour free.

I am pretty certain that that no noticeable colour is apparent. The scope is mainly used as a rich field refractor at low powers i.e 30X - 50X. Star fields are pinpoint sharp and well contrasted. If the weather clears I'll drag it out to view the Moon and perhaps Venus.
