Having been frustrated with recent deep sky imaging due to light pollution and general learning curve issues, decided that it would be nice to generate an image worth looking at.
This is a mosaic of 6 shots along the lunar terminator.
These were taken with the DBK31 at 30fps, and each image was stacked in Registax, and used anywhere from about 10 to 39 frames per stack.
Shot through the LX200GPS 10" at F/10.
Then just manually aligned in Photoshop.
Link to full-size image is here: http://tinyurl.com/2kjt6y
(Warning: Image is about 480kb, and is 2296 x 2812 pixles)
Thumbnail attached also.
Comments welcome.
