hehe we southerners gotta support spaceweather - they look after us :) theyve helped and enabled me observe a few enjoyable things over the years :) as well as giving a excellent daily window to current events around the globe - not to mention being kind enough to use our our pics sometimes.

No Way! is it the pick of the bunch to me!! there was dozens and dozens of all excellent ones! but a big thanks anyway :) I appreciate it
if you submit pics to spaceweather, dont be discouraged if they dont use them - we have had dozens we submitted that werent accepted/usable over the years. Usually coz we took to long to submit (film) and it was out of date. But we have between stew an i, we have two front (or three?) pages spaceweather (photos) i think 5 different events/images used in galleries at least? Nice to featured on ~15 000 hits a day site tho :D

Signed humbly .. SuperStar Kearn - i wont forget youse!!

I can hear your theme song now, "oh lord its hard to be humble when you're...............". I'll let you fill in the blanks.

I agree that to get a shot on there is something special. i don't think the yanks know we exist sometimes, and that maybe we have some spectacular sights as well!!

You're on fire, Kearn! Well done.

We've been clouded (rained) out all week here in Sydney. That's what happens with rare events.

Wow! I am totally stunned!!, and speechless, and that is very unusual for me - as you all know! Thats my christmas/birthday present done for the year :)
Thanks again guys!! :) should of known i wouldnt get anything past the IIS gang!
LOL John! and both shots were both taken with the new Canon 350D mate - amazing camera! I find it a LOT simpler and intuitive to use than my two old Nikon point and shooters (which are still very classy- very nice lenses in them), but highly recommend the 350d if anyones looking to upgrade! The famous older 300D would be very close (specially if its just for the net only), I have seen them new for $1100 with the same kit lens I have - great value :)

Thanks! looks like its our turn Greg, weather report looks dicey for next weekend/monday and beyond for SA :( I heard on the news tonight parts of NSW got our entire years rainfall in one day today!!!!!!

Regards
Kearn
