Welcome to IIS Jinxta,
Suggest you now go and buy yourself a rain water tank and hook it up to collect rain from the rooftop...
that's sure to help!

Hi Jinxsta and welcome to IIS :welcome:.
You'll get used to it, I had to wait two weeks for the sky to clear when I bought my new scope :P.
Congrats on the new scope, what type is it?
Cheers:)

Hi Jinxsta,
I have had my GS 12" dob for over a year and a half or 2 years (I forget), and it still has that 'New' smell inside the tube!!!!
It's been carted around, left out to be covered in ice several times (quite a lot actually), cleaned several times (tube, as well as mirrors), covered in dust and dusted regularly etc.
The 'new' smell just never seems to go away.
