Still available. Price now $325 including shipping. Would also be interested in trading towards a pair of Denkmeiers (since there's so many of those around :) )

Marvellous eyepiece! If I didn't already have 2 of these I'd snap it up. Surprised there are no takers yet,

Cheers

$325 is an excellent price considering the new price is $450+

It's a fair price for an XW in excellent condition but there is no way I'd buy an XW these days for the A$450 that they are still listed at new in Australia, with the A$ so high you can get them much cheaper new from the US.

Seems my price exceeds the market price so I'll keep this eyepiece. Thanks Starkler and S2C for your positive comments.

Please move to archives.

They're an odd bunch on IIS with few people willing to pay the sort of percentage of new price that those on AM would pay. Everyone seems to hang for that price drop waiting for the bargain.

The only reason it ended up on the chopping block was the arrival of expensive binoviewers - trying to balance the budget. Maybe I'll keep my eye out for a second one - only if I can get it for a bargain though;).

"They're an odd bunch on IIS with few people willing to pay the sort of percentage of new price that those on AM would pay. Everyone seems to hang for that price drop waiting for the bargain."

Cos I'm as culpable as anyone re what we all seem to do on this forum (ie rabbit on regardless of relevance) I thought I should at least "come out of the cupboard" on this one! - not that I think casstony needs any (more) moral support for his decision to not sell his ep, I found his response to my offer both polite and reasonable, and I think he took my offer in similar vein.

I offered $280 - don't know what mbaddah bid (and don't give a *** either!) but with utmost regard to what I've said in the preceding paragraph my own position on anything secondhand is an integral factor in my considerations. (including my own budget...)

Just whiling away a few minutes by banging away on the keyboard so thought I'd put my view across...........best regards to everybody, Darryl.

There's no right or wrong associated with pricing - buyers have a price, sellers have a price; if the two meet a deal gets done.

I am surprised a moderator hasn't smacked us naughty boys for disobeying the terms of service in this thread though :)
