Well... in between the recent weeks of storms and clouds we were blessed with one clear night recently and of course i put the new William Optics 110mm APO refractor into immediate action :)
I also used the WO 0.8x field flattener/reducer which brings the f/ratio down from f/5.95 to a pretty fast f/4.8 :D
The image is 87.5-minutes long (25 x 3.5-min. subs), calibrated in Iris, masked in Photoshop, noise reduced with Noiseware.
Image was done with my modded Canon 300D and Baader UV/IR cut filter, calibrated in Iris, post processing in Photoshop.
