Hi,

Here is a fun little game, while it's cloudy.

Be aware, I had four planetry collisions on my first attempt, and one planet that I think may have joined another solar system!!

Bit of fun anyway

Great game to play while waiting for the clouds to clear!

Dragging another star in there really buggers things up. Fun little game. May even let the kids have a go one day :)

Its harder than you think to set up a stable solar system. Brilliant game :)

Our kids had a go before bed last night and really enjoyed it. The 8yo tried to get things running smoothly while the 5yo boy found much joy in getting as many explosions as possible. Our bed time talks have been about gravity this past week so the timing was good.

Fun - get two stars into a stable binary system, then try to insert a planet!!

Must try three stars!!

Hi,

If you put three stars in then the bigger planets just get sucked into them straight away!!

It's pretty interesting seeing how the different planets can affect even the motion of the sun.

i got one stable binary with a large planet circling them both.
other than that... :P

it was good to get say, three planets in stable orbits with nice circular orbits (dots all joining up in each orbit) then throw in another planet to watch the orbits start to degrade or get a regular wobble. :)

pretty cool.

cheers,
DJDD

Yes, I could get a stable triple star system - two orbit very closely and one at a considerable distance. But any planet added gets sucked up or spat out of the system immediately! :P

I liked the way the planet got smaller as it went further out of the gravitational field of the central stars. I kept wanting to wave "bye Bye!".

maybe they will do another iteration that:
- has a larger playing field- i find it a bit small to start with-
- and add the possibility of moons, as well <-- that would be cool. :eyepop:

That's what Microsoft needs to include with Windows. Put it in there along with those other 10 minute wonders - Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Planet Families.
