Hi,

You know how the space shuttle is going to take off in 9 1/2 hours, weather permitting. Will we be able to see anything from Australia, once the shuttle is higher up in the atmosphere, or at some later stage? (Let's pretend the weather in Australia is fine .)

Not during launch. But there is a good chance that it will make a visible pass over your location. Keep an eye on heavens above (www.heavens-above.com) for pass times of the shuttle, or ISS (for cases when they are docked).
