How to ignore THREADS?

I wanted to know if there is a way to ignore a thread.

I know you can put PEOPLE on an ignore list, but the way I read the forums (just check for new posts), if a thread is of no interest, I don't want to keep seeing it pop up every time there is a new message.

Just checking to see if this is a feature of the software that I can't find.:shrug:

Click on Thread tools when you enter the thread - you can unsubscribe from the thread then....

You can only unsubscribe to a thread that you've subscribed to. If there's new replies, it'll always appear in the "New Posts" search.

The feature doesn't exist, Robert. Just skip over it and then use "Mark Forums Read" once you've read all the threads you are interested in.

Thanks Mike... that's the approach I've been using.
Just thought there might be a better way to ignore some of the more popular off-topic stuff.
