Hi all :)
I'm looking for someone who'd like to sell their Tak FS60-C apo refractor for a fair price. I'm looking for an ultra-portable scope to go with my Tak Teegul Sky Patrol II to take on trips and to use as a guidescope while at home.
Thanks in advance
Chris

So you got the Tak mount then? Congrats!
Dunno if you're interested, but Andrews is selling the Long Perng 72mm ED for only $499 just now. It's a nice compact scope, maybe a bit heavy for its size. It seems very portable (although perhaps not 'ultra').
Haven't actually looked through it, but it should be similar to WO scopes since they are made by LP.

G'Day Moreton :)
Firstly - thanks for the heads up on the mount! :)
Yeah, the Tak is only 2.9 lbs (1.3kg), which is a bit lighter than the Taiwanese machine I believe. Add to that the weight of a camera body and it adds up.
Reading up on the Tak it really is a wonder machine. Typical of reviews:

Hmm.. might be time to move the Megrez 80 and the other WO 66 Petzval (with 10:1 focuser), and my the 8" Skywatcher to get one.
