Recent Rain

My new camera arrived on Thursday just in time for the thunderstorms:shrug:
It's a 40D. It's my first digital SLR and it seems pretty tiny compared to the old medium format camera. The pic from left to right is: The scientific, The new and The old!
Bring on the clouds:P

A nice addition to your arsenal Terry :thumbsup:, you will be able to catch raindrops in mid flight for a while though. :P

I was going to get a new camera this time last year...looking at how many times out in the last year I sure am glad I put it off... but when will this rain stop..It is pouring here, again, still, whatever... I think I will get a microscope

The 40d ~$2000 with the lens
The pentax 645n ~$1500 second hand a few years ago. It's a beautiful film camera.
The Genesis. ? The sensor was about US$500 when I bought it and I don't remember how much the kit was. It was still a lot less than the SBIG camera using the same chip at the time.
It isn't a cheap hobby. My scope is pretty conservative compared to many people here so I think it is all relative. You just buy what you can afford at the time.
