G'day from INDIA!!!

Hi guys,

In India for my cousin's wedding! Just thought I'd drop a line while I'm have some time at this net cafe.

The skies here are a little different to what I'm used to, but I've seen Mars VERY high in the sky (directly above), Orion, Venus (early morning), and I think Saturn would be under Venus, but I'm not certain (haven't seen it).

The skies where I am (Chandigarh, up North) are very polluted (light and dust), with only a small 45 degree field of view directly over my head being viewable.

The moon is also directly above in the sky here, and somehow looks closer, even though it's not full yet..??

Anyways, take care! Back in Oz on the 2nd of Dec!

I must be a interesting sight to see the sky from another part of the world with different constellations and planet positions.

We have plenty of Indian's at work and the way they describe the weddings! Wow! 500+ guests! What a big party!

Yes, yes...many guests, tonnes of food, lots of dancing!! :) And did I mention the cermonies go for days? :) The wedding and reception were awesome!!! Will post some photos as soon as I'm back in Oz!

I'm in Malaysia now, visiting my grandparents! Back home this Sunday!
