Hey Phil. This is a lovely wide field perspective. Very pleasant. I'm not too certain of the colour though. Balancing the RGB data with the strong Ha information can take some work. I feel certain if you spent some more time you could extract greater detail from this image. Still a very good result to be pleased of.

So much faint detail for relatively short exposure, a very efficient chip on that camera.

Wonderful image - but i am slightly confused, there is evidence of rotation on the upper left and lower right of the image in the corners but it is spot on on the other two diagonals? I think you have done a fantastic job at capturing all that Nebulae!! Its like that other image you posted that blew me away.

Fantastic Phil, the amount of nebulosity you have captured in this area is awesome. I actually didn't realise there was so much.

bloody nice work there mate!

if the colours were tweaked to something that most people are a little more used to seeing it will finish it off perfectly.

worthy of being hung in the pool room i reckon. :)

Again so much detail I never new existed in M42. Like your other wide field shot this one is stunning. And I think your giving the Hubble a run for its money.
