Maybe a low-profile focuser for my Dob so I can use my Lumicon filter holder for viewing Mars.

And if there's any money left over, a HEQ5 Pro to stop Mars drifting out the field of view. :P

Had you considered fitting a barlow element to the nose of the filter holder to change its focus position? Some barlow elements have the same thread as filters.

Hi Geoff, looks nice, and reasonable price as well :) I like the blondies/maple fretboards ;) still cant bring myself to buy a git without playing it first, lol, altho I know plenty of happy people that have done so from the net. :screwy:
Unless of course it was a custom shop or anniversary strat, when you know it is definitely fine all over.
Even after fender took it back over in 80's, they still had a bad hit and miss with the necks, I'm told. a G&S or a quality cheap 80's japanese lawsuit job would be nice too. decision decisions

thanks for link!
cheers

Wish for others to step up and each of us push just one bright kid into the possibilities of his contribution to the greater world that might be astronomy. Too many choose drugs as their minds and wonder aren't challenged.

I just got the news'today....

I have landed the father xmas job at Tabualm again this year:thumbsup:.. so ask away folks whatever you want you can ask me for it :)...but you will have to line up with all the other kids...

I am so happy to get the job that is what I really wanted all year... so growing the beard paid off... and my mate who was trying to beat me by gaining weight missed out... I am going to ask him if he want to be Santas helper for a stir....

My daughter is so proud that her father is father xmas and all the little kids love asking me if I am really Santa..they ask each time at school for stuff and of course I tell them they can have anything they want:lol::lol::lol:.

best of all I get to ride on the back of the fire truck thru town..it sure is neat:).

Over the 10 days of Christmas I'd like to finish the observatory off with....

One slab of concrete
2 spots of welding
3 roller bearings
4 dynabolts
5 power points
6 observing pads
7 parking bays
8 sq mt of plyboard
9 trees cut down
and 10 clear nights observing in a row.

Mine is easy..I need a mid range eyepieces..say something in the 13mm range so anyone want to get me a 13mm Ethos ;) But seriously I would settle for a 13T6 Nagler or a 13mm Stratus/Hyperion.

Mmm? motorize the roof pulling 1/2 ton with ropes is getting tedious
2 weeks of clear nights for imaging :prey:
hardwire 2 runs of cat 5E back to the house (50mt)
another case for storage of filters eyepieces cameras, etc,etc;
