A few DMK Moon shots

Thought I'd capture these ahead of going for Mars a little later tonight.

DMK21AF04.AS, R Astronomik filter, 2.5x Powermate, C9.25.

MAP and minimal wavelets in R4...levels and curves in PS7.

It's a challenge trying to get the dynamic range under control.

Very happy with the detail in the Alpine Valley shot. Have never captured the rille which runs along its floor before:thumbsup:

Great work Matt, excellent images. The alpine valley is especially good.

Is there a reason you cropped copernicus? Was it not centered, or not sharp off-centre?

Re: Copernicus: it wasn't centred, and looked worse after I'd rotated it in R4 to achieve a nice angle.

Yeah, your 1st Alpine Valley “inner rille” capture – what a cracker, no doubt at all there! Terrific detail in both images, well done!
