Hey everyone,

Looking for an camera eyepiece for my Meade ETX-90EC anyone out there with a spare or unused one?

Have two other ads, also looking for a suitable tripod and a Meade Autostar 497 Controller.

Welcome Mark.
Maybe fine tune what you are looking for here. You want to attach a camera to your ETX? Or is it something else.

sorry Gary, i'm all a bit new to this, had the telescope for a couple of years but really only getting the chance to play now..

What I want to do is get into astophotography (digital) so I'm after a decent res digi camera that I can place in the eyepiece holder show I can easily show the kids what I can see on the laptop, and also take pics..

Hopefully this helps...

Mark

Mark if you don't already have a camera, maybe you might want to consider a GStar or USB DMK camera. Both should provide you with what you want without fussing about with a still camera. The DMK in particular will help you on the way to planetary imaging, and is no slouch when it comes to DSOs.

Just a thought.

Mark,
yep helps a lot.
Paul is right, but also consider a ToUcam.
The snag is that for lunar and planetary, you need a webcam or similar, so a ToUcam/DMK etc, but for DSO imaging you really need a DSLR.
Your posting makes me wonder if you are thinking of those "electronic eyepieces".
Maybe meet up with a forum member close to where you live (not sure where you are exactly) and see what others are doing.
