Meet our Pugs.

The pregnant round one is "Chops". She's cuddling her little model dog for practice. She's so big that if she doesn't have her pups soon I reckon she'll explode - and I'll be cleaning Pug of the ceiling. :scared: She's getting used to her whelping box.

Her husband "Bongo" is trying out the box and looks really concerned about the state of the carpets.

We know that we have at least 16 paws coming David. The ultrasound showed us four little mushed-up faces. :) There might be more hidden too....

So you'll be a Grandad soon Chris .

Don't forget to break out the marrowbone jelly flavoured cigars. :D

Cheers

:) Good point Ric.

Jenny registered us as official Pug breeders a little while back. It does not escape my attention that, while I'd love to keep the little critters (cutest pups on Earth), each one now sells (with papers) for what you'd pay for a 12" LightBridge.

Hmmm.... 6 x ....

I see that you too had to trap the dogs to get a clear photo.
This is the only one of our George that isn't blurred.
Good luck with the little feet & let us know how they go.
Cheers

LOL! Excellent theodog!

George looks like a fine fella. How old is he?

Can't wait to have Pug puppies in our house again - there's no other dog quite like them. Just how much fun can puppies be? :D

Here's one my favourite shots of Chops & Bongo - relaxing around our campfire at Omaroo. The temp was down to about -10 deg C.

LOL! Yeah - I know where you're coming from. We will be getting a new girl soon - as a swap of blood lines from another breeder. We'll be calling her "Sputnik" - which is a good name for a breed of dog that runs around you at a million miles per hour in satellite mode.

Thanks Geoff!

Another one about to hit.... gee she's being a great first-time mother too. Yelped a bit because of two of them breached, but otherwise very quiet and dignified.

Check post#15 for the count.... :)

Well done Chops !!

I thought Bongo looked a little concerned in the first photo:sadeyes: -he knew what was going to happen:whistle:.

He might require some quality time out to get over his PND:mad2:.
Remember buy that extra pair of socks to protect the ankles in the weeks to come.
Again congratulations to all.:D:D

Jenny look positively glowing Chris, being a midwife agrees with her.
Congratulations on all those puppies. Such a belly full, who would have though she could fit that many inside her.
I'm very happy for you all.

Thanks Jeanette :)

Poor old Chops is still in a state of shock and doesn't want to acknowledge the pups just yet. That's OK, I'm bottle feeding every 2 hours and hopefully she'll bond with them soon.

Cheers

LOL! Thanks Ric

Well.. I'm still awake. I can feel the head saying "go to sleep yu silly twit" to the body, but we still have to feed them every two hours. The bottle isn't working so I'm tube feeding them with a catheter. They're going to grow up not liking spaghetti! :)
