I quite like this shot, a bit abstract and intriguing.
Best name I can come up with is "New Light". :)
Roger.
Great shot Roger, I love it !

That is a good shot Roger. You have captured this unusual image very nicely.
Nice shot Roger,
Where is the location?
Best Regards

It was taken inside a "tunnel" which has been formed by a large chunk of the rock cracking off, sliding down the side and leaving a cavity underneath. So in the photo, the primary rock is to the left, the sheet that has slid off is to the right.
The sheet of rock that has slid off would probably be about 60-100m long at a guess, and enormously thick and heavy. It would've made one big thump!
The tunnel is curved slightly and long enough that when inside there is some distance where there's very little light and you can't see either end. Quite speccy :)

Excuse me for being lazy and not looking this up, Roger. Is this the famous "Wave Rock" or another? Eric.

No problem :). It is another rock. Wave Rock is only one of several large rocks out in the Yilgarn Craton that feature "wave" type structures. It's reasonably common, as most rock structures are teh same and the weathering processes are the same across the area.
Many people think that many other rocks have better wave features than "Wave Rock", or are more interesting for some other reason. I've been to many now (including "Wave Rock") and for me, I think this one (Elachbutting) is the best: It's wave is as tall or taller than Wave Rock, it's got more interesting other features around the rock, it has several sections of large waves, and has a rainbow wave that is quite colourful. :)

Thanks Roger, I've "done" the famous one, so next time I'm over with a few days to spare, I'll go chasing Elachbutting Rock. Eric
