Red Flash in Sagittarius 8:49pm

I just saw a red star-like flash maybe +4mag in between Epsilon & Eta Sagittarius. Time 8:49pm AESDT.

Did look like a flash and not a satelite.

Did anyone else see this?

which date was this? I saw something when I was out the other night that sounds similar to what you describe. I didnt pay enough attention to where it was in the sky to validate we are talking about the same thing.

Could have been a meteorite on an entry trajectory straight at you :)

Tuesday night 13th November. As soon as I saw it I went and got my binos from inside (should of had them with me :mad2:) and inspected the area. Nothing stood out as being unusual.
