As the title asks, does it have a tail? All the images I am seeing have m42 and the running man in two separate images and no widefields I can find. I need to know because if you have a look at http://southcelestialpole.org.au/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=582 9.0;attach=9722;image

you can see the tail coming down towards the bright star. I have it on all of my exposures over 60 seconds, which is making me believe it is there, but without proof, I am not certain. Please help as I need to find out before cloning in photoshop.

nice shot, It is a part of the nebulae, I would say it's his back leg though

I think this may be a light reflection from inside my imaging setup, I used a home made extension tube which is not blackened on the inside, this may be the cause.

I can barely see that, I really should get a new monitor for this computer.

I just had a look in the other thread, Now I can see it. I was looking in the nebulae itself.
