Hello boyz down under,
Greetings from Coudersport, PA, USA- home of the Black Forest Star Party at Cherry Springs State Park. I was invited here by Louie Atalasidis whom I met on Astromart. I'm under the darkest skies in the northeast US, but I'm still envious of your wonderful sky and I hope to get there one day. I'm e-friends with Eddie Trimarchi a great imager from OZ.

Anyway, Louie seemed to think that my input might be valuable here so I thought I'd check in at his invitation. Tell ya what, why don't you have a peek at my website and see what you think. If you like what you see, I'll be back with whatever input I can offer the imagers.

The site lists equipment and such- I use an SXV-H9C one-shot-color camera from Starlight Xpress, through an Intes Micro MN-56 Mak-Newt, on a standard G-11, guided with an STV and eFinder. My primary processing software is Photoshop CS and Astroart. I was a filmie for six years years and began CCD in '04. Most of what I do I learned from from Jerry Lodriguss and Ron Wodaski. I'm privileged to be giving an imaging demo at this year's BFSP in September.

Here is the site: http://www.billionsandbillions.com Many of the images will be reprocessed in the next weeks, as a color conversion fault in the plugin I was using has just been resolved by the programmer.

Thanks so much, Warren A Keller

Welcome Warren......I too was looking at the Starlight Express range.

Why didn't you just go for the SXV M25C.....lol

Who is a good American retailer for the UK Owned & Built Starlight Express Range.

My first band's drummer and his soundman brother were from Austrailia. The boys in the band were taught the Harris Coffee and Teas and Arnott's Biscuits commercial songs!

Tony, I am pleased to refer you to John Cordiale and his dad-in-law Jim at AVA, Adirondack Video Astronomy. They are a very scrupulous and supportive dealer for all your SX needs. Terry Platt and Micahel Hattey were in the booth with them at this spring's NEAF in NY, USA. Please tell them I sent you.

You might know that there's a Yahoo SX user group, which I , Alan Chen, Charlie Warren, Wolfgang Promper, Bob Holzer, Rich Krejci, Steve Cannistra and other great SX imagers frequent. Terry monitors that too.

The M25C is a bit high priced for me and considering the file size and a relatively short focal length, I don't think I'd do it anyway. Color conversion is key with the one-shots. Maxim DL, and Astroart are good. I believe Mike Smith has finally nailed his version of the plugin for AA. I hope louie gets his soon too.

Thanks for looking at my site everyone and feel free to write directly with any questions or comments. Hey Eddie are you out there? Eddie and I are both using Intes Mak-Newts. you can't beat 'em for the price!

Truly, Warren Keller
