what a great little bit of kit

Pete from sdm helped me set it up a week ago but tonight was the first time I actually tried to use it properly due to clouds. Did a 2 star align with a illuminated 12mm on canopus and achernar (as I only wanted to do stuff in south and east directions of sky) and after that it landed objects just a fraction off centre in the 7mm nagler which i thought was pretty impressive given a reasonable power eyepiece.

I'd like to have motors for goto, but you can still push your scope to the object pretty darn quick reading the hand controller

I realise I am a few years behind on this but this is my first scope with a argo :lol:

After years of happily star-hopping eventually the objects got fainter and harder to find and I got older and all the bending to and from the eyepiece to the star atlas got a bit beck breaking. So I bit the bullet and finally got an Argo Navis. It's fantastic:eyepop:. It's so much more than digital setting circles - it's a computer with so much useful information at your fingertips.:D
