finally had a clear night to test out the new MPCC :thumbsup:
well it was a pretty dodgy test really, i couldn't be bothered drift aligning so i just went with short exposures but the coma was so severe in my last images that its pretty clear its working well.
19x40s @ iso1600

thanks Ric,
the quality of the raw data was much better than anything i have had before even though the exposures were very short, the MPCC/UHC-S is definately worth the money from my point of view.
coma in a few of my previous images took on a fisheye lens type effect and it looks to be almost completely eliminated now.
i have re-processed a higher res version here:

I can see very little coma there. The MPCC is brilliant isnt it, eliminating coma far more effectively then older more costly coma correctors. Even works well in my 6 inch f3.6 Schmidt Newtonian.
