Hi Mike,

For edits and additions (from anyone), is it best to send just the edits by PM, or a complete new version of the file?

Cheers

Hi Geoff.

Probably just the ammendments and additions via PM is fine.

Thanks

There are a few acronyms here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=48731) that don't appear in Geoff's article.

My apologies Geoff... at the time of starting my thread I didn't realise that your article existed. I had used the sites search function to check if it had already been done, but it did not return your article.

Feel free to merge any acronyms from that thread into your article.

Hi,

The more the better. I'll do a merge soon and then spam Mike again

hmm should this Acronyms article be combined with the Glossary?

Astronomy Acronyms (and constellation acronyms): http://www.iceinspace.com.au/index.php?id=63,440,0,0,1,0
Glossary: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/glossary.html

I had an email from someone who wanted some things added to the glossary because they weren't there (APO and ED), and then I found them in this Acronyms article.

Might be worth combining to have an overall source?

Thoughts?

Hi,

I guess the Acronym List is technically a glossary, as that word means a list of definitions in a certain area.

I think they could live together, although I would keep the list of abbreviations for modern constellations by itself at the end, or something like that.

It would make no difference to me, I just like adding more and more mysterious acronyms as they appear :D

Cheers

Ok they've been merged.

You can find the Glossary of Terms and Astronomy Acronyms (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/glossary.html) here:

I will keep adding new terms and acronyms - please keep sending them to me! :)
