Amongst all the oddball shaped galaxies out there, is two that together look like a !. Here it is .
The two galaxies are
PGC553605, which is mag16.9 and
ESO242-022 mag 16.5
The much brighter spiral next to them is ESO242-023 at Mag 13.5
I would have loved to have gone deeper but though I started as soon as it was dark cloud ended proceedings after 30 minutes of imaging so I had to be content with that. Seeing and transparency was good though.

3x10 mins ISO 200. uv/ir filter, Hutech modded 350D. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian. Hand off axis guided. This is a full res. crop.
So now I can say ive photographed the Exclamation Mark :)

EDIT:
Here is a list of galaxies with proper names, this one is listed here.

Here is the full image of this area. There are lots of faint non stellar objects there (faint galaxies)

Yet the list of common names is great :)
Only did it when showing the common names to a mate, Ron who commented it was an unusual name so, upon seeing the DSS sky image, I just HAD to go get it myself :)
I must see what other odd named things I can image.

 that's why I put all those tags in STAR Atlas PRO,
for Photon Gods.... just like Scott.

Hehehe thanks all.
last night I went through Star Atlas Pro's list and came up with a few more candidates to try for. That is when the weather clears. The other night there was a 1/2 hour window of brilliant clear skies, when I imaged the Exclamation Mark, its been socked in here ever since. Hopefully by the weekend it will clear.
Im keen to image one called the Carafe Galaxy ESO 202-G23, its brighter at Mag 14
IC5173 "southern integral sign"
The burnbridge chain, ESO540-025... to name a few :)
