Hi there from down under !!! I've been watching Comet Holmes through my 25x100 Burgess binoculars perched on my home made parallelogram mount after building it only a few weeks ago. Here is what I saw with the bins on my steady P-Mount. :)
I'll be watching the comet closely now. :D

Great report and presentation Mark !
That looks like an excellent setup for viewing.

I'm so envious of the views you're getting from "down-there" :D

For us here in NSW the comet is so low (5 deg) in the north.

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words Rocket Boy. The views here are outstanding with the comet right overhead. I remember reading about you guys "down there" having a great view of Comet McNaught and I was sooooo jealous of you guys!!!

Sometimes I think we would've been better off leaving the earth flat, like it was in the good 'ol days.
That way everyone would get to see the same views.
