Ok looks good, weather should be clear overnight. I'll set up for this one (camera/tripod). Might even try getting the scope on it ;)

The ISS over Newcastle tonight wasn't too shabby - I estimate mag -2.... spotted an iridium whilst comparing it to Jupiter too.... :D

I was just getting home from my Australian Citizenship ceremony (woohoo!) and looked up, spotting the ISS in mid pass. I then remembered that it was going over, and was able to show it to my wife and daughter. This was one of the better passes that I have seen.

17 years ago I was out with my telescope when I caught a Mir pass by accident, just as it was docking with a supply module. That was probably the most interesting spacecraft pass that I have seen, as both of them were in a single field of view at 130x.

I gave this early ISS an attempt through the scope too (though it was only about 34 degrees altitude from up here in QLD), to go with the footage I captured yesterday evening. I got some detail, but not much. I'll post it up when I upload it.
