After coming across this article

http://www.eso.org/public/outreach/press-rel/pr-2007/pr-42-07.html
I brought up my best image of this enigmatic object, upsampled and reprocessed it, examples of 2 results here.
On the dimmer pic one can see the central star is a strange reddish colour, but alas no disc. No wonder, upon fully reading the article it took TWO of the 8 metre Unit telescopes of the VLT in interferometer mode operating in the mid IR to uncover it. My humble 10 inch and near IR to visible light camera has no chance.

When Eddies 24 incher is finished the Ant Nebula is a must see with it :)

Still a lovely image and great to have some ambition, Scott ;)

I agree with Mike there!! Its a great effort! You never know what one can accomplish doing work like this and pushing yourself and your gear to the limit!!
