l think this is a lot better, any comments gratefully accepted
This is a lot better and there is more to see in the core.
What are those horizontal lines in the image?

l think it must be compression but the experts may have a better idea.

The layer masking made a difference on the core Mick and whatever processing method you used this time really worked .... Nice one:thumbsup:

Lovely image Mick. I may not have seen the original thread - how many exposures and how long were they?
The masking job looks nice. I'd probably prefer some more vibrant colours (it looks a bit pastelley), and there's quite a bit of noise which could probably be cleaned up using Noiseware or similar.

If no darks subtracted from the image it will be the foot prints of hot pixies.
If not that I have no idea...I could not see them it is bright as where I am.
And a very good image indeed.. little to complain about there well done Mick.
